Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Assembly Technician for 1st shift in Mt Juliet, TN. You will prepare, assemble, and wire products per specifications, in readiness for testing and quality inspection.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, cutting and stripping wires, crimping or soldering, assembling wire harnesses, labeling, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. High school diploma or GED required; US work authorization essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check to the satisfaction of the Company.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Material Selection – Choose wire gauges, insulation, connectors and coverings.
• Wire Cutting and Stripping – Measure, cut, and strip wires as specified.
• Crimping and Soldering – Apply correct techniques for strong electrical and mechanical connections.
• Assembly of Wire Harnesses – Route and secure wires per design requirements.
• Labeling and Identification – Label wires and assemblies for traceability.
• Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation – Read blueprints and electrical schematics for installation.
• Mechanical Assembly – Assemble subassemblies with hand/power tools.
• Safety and Quality Compliance – Follow safety rules and quality standards.
