Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Hardware Test Engineer to own detailed validation testing of PCBAs supporting next-generation battery and energy storage systems.

You will develop robust test plans, translate requirements into measurable methods, and perform hands-on electrical testing on prototype hardware. Work closely with Electrical Engineering, Firmware, and Systems teams to ensure boards meet electrical, functional, and safety requirements, documenting results and findings for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering or closely related field.
• Experience performing hardware validation and test engineering.
• Ability to interpret schematics and electrical requirements.
• Hands-on with PCBAs and prototype hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans from requirements and translate them into measurable methods.
• Execute validation tests on PCBAs, including Hi-Pot and electrical safety testing.
• Record results with evidence and measurements, generating validation reports.
• Collaborate with EE, Firmware, Systems, and Mechanical teams to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot unexpected test results and refine test setups.
