Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee large-scale construction projects from Temple, TX, on-site. You will lead field leadership teams, manage budgets, schedules, safety, and quality, and serve as the liaison between executive leadership and project teams.

You will ensure projects are staffed and executed per contract terms, while maintaining strong client and trade partner relationships and driving successful outcomes across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
Minimum 5+ years of Superintendent experience on ground-up commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects valued at $50 million or more.
Proven track record delivering complex construction projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, transportation infrastructure, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, or similarly complex projects.
Thorough knowledge of applicable building, electrical, life-safety, and construction codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, project scheduling methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource planning.
Demonstrated ability to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other contract documents to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for large-scale construction projects, mentoring and managing field leadership teams while ensuring projects are staffed, resourced, and executed effectively across multiple locations.
Manage project execution in accordance with contract terms, conditions, scope of work, and project requirements, ensuring compliance with project specifications, owner expectations, and company objectives.
Serve as the technical authority on contract documents, construction drawings, specifications, manufacturer data, submittals, RFIs, and constructability concerns, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, contractual obligations, and project requirements.
Lead project planning and controls, including preconstruction activities, budgeting, forecasting, manpower planning, procurement coordination, schedule management, and weekly look-ahead planning to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence by enforcing company safety policies, overseeing inspections and quality control programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners to resolve complex construction challenges, maintain strong working relationships, and drive successful project outcomes.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple large, complex construction projects simultaneously, assess performance against project objectives, and identify solutions to technical and operational challenges.

Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
