Job summary

Aecon U.S. is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead day-to-day electrical field operations on the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas.

This role connects supervision with craft labor, ensuring safety, productivity, quality and schedule compliance across multiple crews. You will supervise multiple foremen, plan activities, read drawings and specifications, enforce safety, coordinate tools and materials, and maintain daily reports.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience as a General Foreman or Lead Foreman on large commercial/industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) and TD​LR number upon acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multiple electrical foremen and crews.
• Plan, schedule, and execute daily and weekly work activities.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, NEC, and site standards.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and material needs.
• Interface with superintendents, project management, and other trades.
• Enforce site safety policies and conduct toolbox talks.
• Monitor productivity and address performance or manpower issues.
• Review drawings and layouts to identify conflicts or constructability issues.
• Support inspections, testing, and turnover activities.
• Maintain daily reports and manpower logs.
