Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a General Foreman to oversee electrical construction field production, manage labor, materials and schedules, and provide technical leadership to ensure work meets Rosendin standards and project specs.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical construction, strong reading of plans and NFPA codes, and proven leadership of foremen. On-site responsibilities include safety, cost control, and coordination with project teams across commercial or industrial projects.

Qualifications

• State Issued Electrical license optional by state requirement.
• 5 years of Electrical Experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as Electrical Foreman/General Foreman or similar role in electrical construction.
• Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting electrical plans with NFPA knowledge.
• Proven track record of project leadership with sub-foremen.
• Ability to manage various electrical construction projects including new construction and tenant improvements.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Experience with power systems installation including lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field production activities; assist Foreman with planning, materials and manpower.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to set and track project goals.
• Review labor needs and monitor hours, ratios and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and installation methods.
• Prepare and maintain installation documentation and as‑builts.
• Provide leadership to Foremen and coordinate with project personnel.
• Track material costs, storage, and orders to minimize waste and overruns.
• Allocate tasks to crew members to meet productivity targets.
• Identify and address potential project issues proactively.
• Ensure safety equipment, tools, and onsite materials are available.
