Job summary

Gerelco Electrical Contractors in Orlando seeks a project Foreman to lead daily site activities, coordinate crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of trade experience, OSHA 30, a clean Florida driver's license, and proven leadership in field operations on commercial or industrial projects. This role also involves budget awareness, resource planning, mentoring staff, and reporting progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 7 years trade experience.
• Employee must have and maintain an OSHA 30 certification
• Employee must have and maintain a clean, valid Florida Driver’s license
• Must have experience and be able to perform all of the duties required of the positions under him /her.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
• Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
• Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
• Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

The project Foreman is responsible for hourly and daily activities of the employees assigned to the project or his/her portion of the project.

Work Environment

This job operates in various outdoor locations in any type of weather. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is to be expected.
