Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The role involves leading a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, coordinating installation tasks, and ensuring high quality work on site.

Responsibilities include scheduling, material takeoffs, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. The candidate should be capable of mentoring team members and communicating effectively with supervision and other trades.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and site demands.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals and communicate needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, and panel boards.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out small areas of work from drawings and project documents.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
