Qualifications

Electrical Foreman / Lead Electrician

Location: Erie, PA
Pay: $34–$48/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type:Direct Hire Full-Time
Travel: Local travel only, no overnight travel

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a well-established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman / Lead Electrician to join their team in Erie, PA.

This is a hands-on leadership position supporting residential and commercial electrical service work throughout Erie and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is a skilled Journeyman Electrician who can independently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, perform clean and code-compliant work, communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and provide leadership to apprentices and helpers.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical service work
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
• Complete work according to electrical code, project scope, schedule, and company quality standards
• Read and interpret electrical plans, job notes, and work orders as needed
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with customers, coworkers, and management
• Provide direction and support to apprentices and helpers when assigned
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Keep tools, materials, and equipment organized and in good working condition
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards
• Represent the company professionally while working in customers' homes and businesses

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license/card required, or ability to obtain one within an established timeframe
• Strong residential and/or commercial electrical service experience
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safe work practices
• Ability to perform clean, professional, code-compliant electrical work
• Previous lead or foreman experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely perform physical electrical field work and lift materials as required
• Must be comfortable working in a smoke-free environment

Compensation & Benefits
