Actalent is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead electrical construction and controls leadership on engineering-heavy projects, including data centers. You will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of power and controls systems, coordinate field teams, and ensure IP-based networks and servers are integrated properly.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as an electrical foreman on engineering-heavy projects.
• Hands-on background as a controls foreman for building automation and controls systems.
• Experience leading electrical commissioning and documenting activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities ensuring high-quality installation of power and controls systems.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and integration of building automation and controls systems.
• Plan and execute commissioning activities for electrical and controls infrastructure.
• Read blueprints and specifications to guide field installation and commissioning work.
• Coordinate field teams to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Oversee implementations of controls engineering solutions for data center environments.
• Support networks and servers setup for IP-based communications.
• Troubleshoot networks to ensure reliable communication between electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Ensure building automation controls are installed, configured, and tested per requirements.
• Document installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Promote safe work practices during construction and commissioning.
