Job summary

Jet Industries is seeking a skilled electrician to perform installations of electrical distribution equipment, conduits, lighting, and wiring on-site. The role includes troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and operating diagnostic tools to ensure safe, efficient electrical systems.

Basic English is required for communication with team members and vendors. A valid Oregon Journeyman's license is required, and the position offers competitive wages based on experience in a family-owned contractor

Responsibilities

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels.
• Install in-ground conduits.
• Install lighting and lighting control systems.
• Install wiring (NMB, MC, single conductor cable, conduit systems).
• Install low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring, lighting, and devices.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, wiring diagrams.
• Operate hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
• Use measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installations of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devicesRead complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• The ability to get an Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
