Scope of Work

This position will oversee the management of project installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial and industrial electrical industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate the ability to run medium to large-size projects effectively.
  2. Consistently complete projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
  3. Supervise and direct field personnel, typically overseeing a team of 25+ employees.
  4. Establish performance goals and motivate crews to meet or exceed them.
  5. Manage on-site construction projects, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality standards are met.
  6. Address and resolve conflicts related to construction activities and personnel issues.
  7. Coordinate field installations and project close-outs efficiently.
  8. Review project documents, plans, and specifications to direct construction activities.
  9. Complete basic paperwork such as logs, evaluations, purchase orders, and time cards promptly.
  10. Manage resources including tools, equipment, and staffing effectively.
  11. Understand estimates and assist with installation and layout planning.
  12. Report to the Field Supervisor, General Superintendent, or Project Manager.
  13. Collaborate with other field personnel and support staff across departments.
  14. Engage with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  15. Maintain required licensing and training.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
