Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical crews in the Rochester, NY area. The role requires directing daily activities, ensuring safe and efficient installations, and mentoring apprentices and journeymen.

Qualified candidates will read blueprints, interpret NEC and drawings, and coordinate with project managers to maintain schedules and meet project goals while enforcing OSHA standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Journeyman's license preferred but not required.
• Experience supervising commercial electrical crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and NEC.
• Ability to plan look-ahead schedules and coordinate materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead commercial electrical crews, providing daily direction, training, and support to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities, materials, and labor while maintaining a three-week look-ahead schedule.
• Oversee electrical installations, including conduit, wiring, lighting, fire alarms, branch circuits, panels, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, contract drawings, specifications, and the National Electrical Code to ensure compliant installations.
• Inspect completed work, maintain quality control, update as-built drawings and panel schedules, and manage punch-list completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other trades to maintain project schedules and resolve jobsite issues.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards, conduct employee orientations, and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company procedures.
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen while maintaining daily logs, monitoring productivity, and ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.

A well established local company is looking to add an Electrical Foreman to their growing team. A journeyman's license is preferred but not required.

Qualified candidates will have experience with most of the following:
