Job summary

System One is seeking an Electrical Final Assembler for a contract-to-hire position in Salt Lake City, Utah. Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in professional electrical assembly.
• 2 years minimum work experience with hand tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• IPC qualification preferred but not necessary.

Job description

Job Title: Electrical Final Assembler
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Working from instruction manuals, wiring diagrams, lists, and drawings
• Assembling electrical units and systems using mainly hand tools
• Performing assembly functions including preparation of units, systems, mechanical assembly, harness preparation, cable installation, and wiring equipment
• Maintaining a safe work environment by following Stadler’s safety procedures including handling of materials, tools, and equipment
• Performing assemblies and hardware installation such as circuit breakers and electrical panels
• Assembling electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installing components, units, subassemblies, and wiring
• Adjusting, repairing, or replacing electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications
• Positioning, aligning, or adjusting workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
• Consulting with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or resolve production problems

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in professional electrical assembly
• 2 years minimum work experience working with hand tools
• Motivated self-starter
• Willing to adapt to new situations and challenges
• Must be able to read and follow manuals (parts lists, work instructions, etc.)
• Stable and steady work history
• High School Diploma or GED
• IPC qualification preferred but not necessary
