Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician in the Whitsett, NC area. The role involves training, then traveling 75-85% of the time to install and service packaging equipment at client sites in the US and internationally.

Travel expenses are covered, and candidates should have 2+ years in installation/maintenance, a technical degree, PLC experience, and ability to read schematics and drawings. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• 2-year degree (technical degree) or certificate in industrial automation/industrial electronics.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley systems).
• Experience using electrical tools such as multi-meters, wire strippers, cutters, and crimpers.
• Must have experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance and modifications on packaging equipment.
• Travel to client sites and participate in international training and deployment.
• Support customers with startup, commissioning and ongoing service.

I have a client based in the Whitsett, North Carolina area that is looking for an Electrical Field Service Technician. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role,

In this position, you’ll be working with a company who manufactures packaging equipment. This person may require 3-6 months training internationally. After training, you will travel to client sites, both within the US and internationally 75-80% of the time completing electrical installations, maintenance, and modifications on packaging equipment.

This is a Travel Heavy Direct Hire Position.

Travel expenses will be covered.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
• 2-year degree (technical degree) or certificate in industrial automation/industrial electronics
• Proficiency in PLC Programming (Allen Bradley systems)
• Experience using electrical tools such as multi-meters, wire strippers, cutters, and crimpers
• Must have experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Valid driver’s license (ability to rent vehicles/hotels)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Passport for international travel
• Willingness to travel 75–85% (average ~280 days/year) and relocate for training
