Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician based in Whitsett, NC to install, maintain, and modify packaging equipment at client sites. The role requires 75-80% travel, including international assignments, with training lasting 3–6 months abroad.

You will operate independently in a remote environment, wiring electrical systems, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• 2-year technical degree or certificate in industrial automation/industrial electronics.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (TwinCAT).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites within the US and internationally 75-80% of the time to complete electrical installations, maintenance, and modifications on packaging equipment.
• Complete 3-6 months of training internationally.
• Relocate/travel for training as needed and work with packaging equipment customers.

Job description

I have a client based in the Whitsett, North Carolina area that is looking for an Electrical Field Service Technician.

In this position, you'll be working with a company who manufactures packaging equipment. This person may require 3-6 months training internationally. After training, you will travel to client sites, both within the US and internationally 75-80% of the time completing electrical installations, maintenance, and modifications on packaging equipment.

This is a Travel Heavy Direct Hire Position.

Travel expenses will be covered.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
• 2-year degree (technical degree) or certificate in industrial automation/industrial electronics
• Proficiency in PLC Programming (TwinCAT)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Valid driver's license (ability to rent vehicles/hotels)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Passport for international travel
• Willingness to travel 75-85% (average ~280 days/year) and relocate for training
