Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Lead in New Albany, OH to head the electrical scope on a complex project, directing direct-hire crews, coordinating field execution, and ensuring alignment with safety, quality and design requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience, plus strong knowledge of electrical codes, risk management and tools such as Navisworks, Setroute, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize planning, safety, quality, and technical activities for the electrical scope of work on a complex project with multiple stakeholders.
• Directly manage and coordinate direct-hire electrical crews, providing day-to-day supervision, workface planning, and field execution guidance.
• Ensure electrical installations are sequenced to align with the project schedule, while methods are planned and executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design requirements, codes and quality standards.
• Support Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals by interpreting technical documents and addressing constructability challenges.
