Job summary

ABLE COMMUNICATIONS INC seeks an Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations for electrical construction projects in Grand Prairie, TX. You will lead crews, coordinate with PMs, GCs, and vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery according to plans and codes.

The role requires a TDLR Journeyman license, 7+ years in commercial electrical construction, and strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards. Excellent leadership and scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial electrical construction.
• 3+ years of experience as a leadership role (foreman/superintendent).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and Texas electrical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and supervise daily field operations to meet schedules and budget.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and discipline field personnel per policy.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors to maintain progress.
• Lead safety programs and enforce OSHA compliance across sites.
• Review drawings and contracts to ensure installation matches specs.
• Prepare weekly look-ahead manpower projections and update schedules.
