Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Field Services Inspector in Washington, DC, to ensure compliance with plans and standards during construction for facilities serving the water industry.

The successful candidate will coordinate with various teams, conduct inspections, and engage in project management activities. With a compensation range between $60,000 and $120,000, this position requires at least 4 years of construction inspection experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Construction Inspection Experience.
• Client requested certifications.
• Strong computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability reviews of designs.
• Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities.
• Gather and maintain record documents.

Skills

Knowledge of NEC requirements for industrial and commercial installations

Effective oral and written communication

Good technical skills

Ability to understand Electrical, Instrumentation, and P&ID drawings

Demonstrated ability to efficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
