Job summary

Thompson Construction Group, Inc. seeks a supervisory Electrician to manage installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems per customer specs and blueprints. You will lead linemen and helpers, plan wiring layouts, and ensure on-site safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and physically able to perform required tasks.
• Completion of Construction Electrician Course with 1 year of field experience or 3 years as Electrical Helper.
• May require state or local certifications and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise linemen, electricians and helpers on electrical systems.
• Plan wiring and installation of equipment per blueprints and drawings.
• Conduct periodic inspections and on-site supervision of safety practices.
• Estimate time and material costs and track job records.
• Explain company policy and enforce safety rules and working conditions.
• Train and instruct subordinates on procedures.
