Job summary

CSA Group has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Field Evaluation Representative to provide services to clients throughout the US. This role supports a one-time evaluation program to help manufacturers enter the North American market when certification is not yet feasible.

The job involves evaluating non-certified equipment, communicating with clients, and preparing detailed reports in collaboration with Engineering and Lab staff. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related sciences or an equivalent combination.
• Engineering technology or Associate degree is acceptable.
• Electrician or related technical field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC/CEC/NFPA 790 & 791 and SPE standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of non-certified equipment per code and field guidelines.
• Communicate with clients to schedule inspections and review costs and technical data.
• Create detailed technical reports for required alterations and follow-up actions.
• Research standards and collaborate with engineering and lab staff on procedures.
