Job summary

CSA Group has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Field Evaluation Representative to provide services to clients throughout the US. As a one-time evaluation program, CSA Group’s field evaluation services help manufacturers get their products into the North American market when certification is not a viable option yet proof of compliance to local requirements is still needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related sciences is required.
• Engineering Technology or Associates Degree is required.
• Electrician or related technical field is acceptable.
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian electrical standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of non-certified equipment per specified code and ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate with clients to schedule inspections, review costing, and provide technical guidance for the Field Evaluation program.
• Document detailed technical reports for alterations to sub-standard equipment and review corrective actions with clients.
