Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer for a long-term Pecos, TX project on the Renewables & Clean Power program. The role supports electrical inspection and field construction across multiple turbine and emission control systems and coordinates with subcontractors.

The candidate will contribute to safety, quality, and document control while mobilizing to Pecos on a long-term site assignment. A bachelor’s degree and extensive field experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience on Simple Cycle or Combined Cycle facilities is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of NEC, ASTM, ANSI codes; word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily inspection and construction of electrical works on GE 7HA.02 turbines and related systems.
• Plans, packages work, materials, and schedules; ensures safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and reviews inspection test plans and submittals.
