Kiewit Energy District seeks an Electrical Construction Field Engineer to lead electrical field engineering on EPC projects in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical market. You will oversee health and safety, reporting quality, and project execution of electrical installation, procurement, and coordination with design teams.

Requires 3+ years in electrical construction, NEC knowledge, and strong scheduling/cost control skills; willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• At least 3 years of electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal OSHA requirements.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Broad knowledge of project scheduling and cost control; able to read specifications and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SureTrak, Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Prolog or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Good attention to detail; strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required.

Responsabilités

• Support administrative and construction activities; review proposals, drawings, and specs.
• Perform material takeoffs and prepare cost estimates.
• Attend pre-bid investigation meetings; interpret drawings for field crews.
• Calculate quantities and track costs; prepare work plans and packages.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and supervise subcontractors as needed.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Field Engineers, and craft teams within electrical discipline.
• Mentor and lead a team of Electrical Field and Field Engineers; ensure safety, quality, and timely reporting.
