KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an Electrical Field Engineer II for a major Data Center project in Abernathy, TX. This role bridges engineering, construction, and field operations to drive installation through turnover.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in electrical construction, strong field execution skills, and experience with RFIs, submittals, and documentation. BIM/Procore and an Electrical Engineering degree are a plus. 18-month assignment with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience on Data Center, Industrial, Power, Substation, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and field execution.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, work packages, and turnover documentation.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; experience with Bluebeam.

Responsabilités

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Resolve design and installation conflicts to support field execution.
• Develop field sketches and coordinate engineering updates.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain and track as-built drawings and turnover packages.
• Support work package development and field planning activities.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Track quantities, field progress, and project milestones.
• Assist with inspections, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Support change order development and project reporting.
