Job summary

Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is recruiting an experienced Electrical & Facilities Specialist to join our Engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs within qualifications, and maintaining safe, reliable building systems on a large resort property.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and coordinating with licensed contractors as needed, while contributing to a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and facility-related issues.
• Strong ability to perform preventive maintenance on electrical and building systems.
• Familiar with building management and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and facility-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and building systems; diagnose equipment, lighting, controls, motors, panels.
• Respond to guest room and facility maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with general building maintenance when needed.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors for outside services or permitting.

OVERVIEW

Safety Harbor Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced, hands-on Electrical & Facilities Specialist to join our Engineering team.

We are looking for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong troubleshooting abilities who can help maintain and improve a large, active resort property.

This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be expected to diagnose problems, perform repairs within their qualifications, oversee preventative maintenance, and help ensure that our building systems remain safe and reliable.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and facility-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and building systemsDiagnose equipment, lighting, controls, motors, panels, and related systems
• Respond to guest room and facility maintenance issues
• Assist with general building maintenance when needed
• Coordinate with licensed contractors when work requires outside services or permitting
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Identify recurring problems and recommend permanent solutions
• Participate in emergency and after-hours response when necessary
