Maintenance Engineer – Saddlebrook Resort

We are seeking an experienced maintenance person skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repair to join our team at Saddlebrook Resort, a premier luxury destination near Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct electrical repairs on appliances, wiring, and HVAC components.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related finishes.
• Maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keep accurate records and logs of maintenance tasks as required.
• Prepare and submit reports to supervisors in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Proficiency in household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and an engaging, welcoming personality.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
