Job summary

John Deere Horicon Works seeks a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer to provide project management and Electrical Engineering support for facility infrastructure in Horicon, WI, near Milwaukee and Madison. You will work with internal teams and contractors to drive projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities include analyzing electrical systems, managing capital projects up to $10M, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and compliance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Electrical Engineering systems and design.
• Ability to understand electrical principles and factory power distribution (12.47 kV, 480V, 110V).
• Experience interpreting NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and consultants.
• Knowledge of life, safety, and building code analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis of facility electrical systems and propose solutions.
• Provide project management using processes for small to medium facility infrastructure projects up to $10M in capital spend.
• Coordinate with internal resources, external design professionals and contractors from concept through implementation.
• Foster high-performance teamwork with Maintenance, Facilities, and Manufacturing staff across the site.
• Support life, safety, and building code analysis and implement related programs.
• Coordinate with Supply Management to develop project sourcing strategies.
