Job summary

NOV is looking for a skilled technician in Midland, Texas, to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include developing knowledge bases for equipment systems and performing minor electrical work.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, electrical certifications, and experience with hand tools and fabrication. This position offers the opportunity to implement and maintain new processes at our facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education level High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Electrical certifications (LOTO, NFPA70e, Arc flash training etc).
• Experienced knowledge around hand tools.
• Licensed for Forklift, scissor lift etc.
• Metal working/fabrication experience.
• Control wiring diagnosing and installation (4-20mA & 0-10v control voltage).
• Read and trouble shoot wiring schematic.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM related tasks on manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base for manufacturing test bench and assembly equipment systems.
• Help implement and maintain new processes and control.

Skills

Electrical certifications (LOTO, NFPA70e, Arc flash training)

Experienced knowledge around hand tools

Metal working/fabrication experience

Forklift and scissor lift licensing

Education
