We are seeking an Electrical Estimator - Project Manager to join us.

Well established subcontractor seeks an experienced professional for commercial electrical projects statewide in Arizona.

Job Duties:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, sets priorities.

• Prepares estimates by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs.

• Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.

• Develops and Maintains relationships and Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials through identification of qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.

• Qualifies bids through interaction with contractor, owner representatives.

• Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.

• Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

• Identifies potential conflicts or problems within bid documents.

• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

• Maintains continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Develops new, and Maintains relationships with Customers, bids continually in order to have a relevant project backlog.

• Attends prebid and site project meetings.

• Reviews the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

• Reviews and corrects all submittals.

• Manages the contracting process.

• Works daily with Field Supervision to develop layout drawings, commodities list, and purchase orders, project progress and conditions.

Works weekly with Project Engineer and project staff with coordination updates.

• Coordinating schedules of the job with Customer and other subtier

• Maintains current communication and log for change orders to all internal and external parties.

• Monitors field production.

• Assists Field Supervision in structuring crews.

• Developing and continually updating cost to completes.

• Drafting of and participation in project billings.

Construction Skills and Qualifications

• Candidate should reside in Arizona with ability to commute to Chandler AZ.

• Combination of verifiable related education and work history indicating ability to estimate multiple large and small scale projects.

• Proficient with technology, computers and usage of computer programs Microsoft Office, Excel, andMcCormickCost Estimating programs.

• Prior experience with the electrical trade and cost estimating,

• Knowledge of NEC and construction standards,

• Experience with public and private work, Commercial.
