Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or 2 years related experience.
• 2–3 years in construction estimating, electrical estimating preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects by reviewing plans, specs, and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients to determine scope, materials, labor, and equipment.
• Perform takeoffs and input data into estimating programs; analyze quotes from suppliers.
• Track and report on bids; prepare paperwork for management review and proposals.
