Job summary

LF Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, seeks an Electrical Estimator to develop cost estimates for diverse projects in early development stages and support the project team with updated cost information throughout Pre-construction. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in a related field and 5+ years of estimating experience in general contracting, with strong MS Office/Excel

Qualifications

• BS or BA in construction, management, engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years of estimating experience in general contracting.
• Open to candidates moving from field operations to preconstruction.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel and budgeting/purchasing.
• Honesty, accountability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and MEP drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs on assigned projects.
• Identify omissions and ensure proper accounting in estimates.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and manage bid analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams on pricing.
