You will work with project managers, operations, and accounting to transition bids to builds while cultivating strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

You will stay current with electrical codes and industry best practices, contributing to timely, profitable project outcomes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator for commercial/industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and distribution systems.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, drawings, and contract docs.
• Track record of securing profitable projects in competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specs to determine costs.
• Prepare and submit complete bid proposals with takeoffs and quotes.
• Lead pre-bid activities: meetings, site visits, bid reviews.
• Identify cost-saving alternatives for challenging projects.
• Establish relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project management and operations for hand-offs.
• Support procurement with purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Analyze bid outcomes to improve estimating strategies.
