Job summary
Feyen Zylstra is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support our Nashville, TN office. This role prepares detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates, collaborating with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of quotes.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years estimating electrical construction projects over $3 million, experience with large commercial/industrial projects, and proficiency in Accubid.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects over $3 million.
- Experience estimating large commercial and industrial projects.
- Proficiency in estimating in Accubid.
- Ability to prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information and specifications.
- Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates.
- Collaborate with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership and Project Managers to ensure accurate estimates.
- Travel regionally to project sites as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete bid documentation and quotes.
