We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for various electrical construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical requirements, pricing strategies, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical estimating software and be able to work collaboratively with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
• Analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates that include labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Utilize software tools to create accurate and efficient estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather information on existing conditions and assess potential challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers to review project scopes and identify opportunities for cost control.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive estimates.
• Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,800.00 - $83,200.00 per year
