Job summary

Rex Moore Group, Inc. is seeking an Estimator I to support the estimating team with cost assessments for electrical projects. The ideal candidate has foundational electrical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accurate, competitive estimates.

You will work within Rex Moore’s pre-award processes, coordinate with vendors and clients, and contribute to project turnovers after award. This full-time role offers growth opportunities in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and applications in the commercial and industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specs (electrical and other trades as they pertain to electrical scope).
Knowledge of software tools used in estimating (Bluebeam, Accubid, Excel).

Responsibilities

Become familiar with Rex Moore’s pre-award processes and services.
Review bid documents to define scope and identify risks.
Provide detailed cost estimates that cover defined scope and perform material takeoffs.
Plan and coordinate estimating process with vendors, subcontractors and clients.
Enter material takeoffs into Accubid and update recap sheets for review.
Attend estimate reviews with Preconstruction Director and regional Project Executive.
Follow up with clients after bids for key information and finalization.
