You will review plans, perform takeoffs, prepare bid proposals, and collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients. The role requires 4+ years of electrical estimating, NEC knowledge, and proficiency with Accubid, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience estimating commercial, industrial, or service projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code requirements, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency with Accubid, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Electrical field experience or construction related education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Performing detailed electrical takeoffs and developing competitive estimates.
• Preparing complete bid proposals for commercial, industrial, and service projects.
• Conducting site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs.
• Collaborating with project teams, vendors, suppliers, and clients throughout the preconstruction process.
• Evaluating project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Supporting successful bid strategies and project pursuits.
