Traffic Management Solutions seeks an Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for FDOT and transportation projects. You will handle quantity takeoffs, labor and material costs, and bid submissions, ensuring compliance with state specs and pricing standards.

The role requires strong electrical construction knowledge, DOT plan interpretation, and experience with bid processes. A pool vehicle may be used; Florida travel is expected to gather supplier quotes and perform site observations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience may substitute.
• Seven years estimating experience with at least four years on highway projects.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating methods and cost control.
• Familiarity with State DOT specifications and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Review DOT plans, specs, bid documents to determine scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for electrical/transportation systems.
• Develop complete project estimates including labor, materials, and subs.
• Apply pay item structures, specs, and measurement provisions.
• Prepare detailed estimate worksheets and bid summaries.
