This role demands attention to detail, strong math, and effective communication for high‑quality project planning. The position emphasizes on‑site coordination, pre‑bid involvement, and rigorous cost control across large and small

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of estimating experience with a High School Diploma, 4–6 years with an Associate degree, or 0–2 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of NEC and Low Voltage Systems.
• Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints.
• Deal effectively with customers and manage deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop cost estimates from take‑off to bid hand‑off.
• Work with ConEst Estimating Software.
• Develop cost estimates for change orders.
• Analyze material and labor requirements to complete a project.
• Attend pre‑bid and scope review meetings.
• Compute and submit bids.
• Read and understand blueprints and perform takeoffs.
• Meet with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project Managers.
