Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subs.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in alignment with project timelines and budget expectations.
• Research and source materials and equipment to ensure accurate pricing and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to reflect realistic project conditions.
• Track market trends, labor rates, and material costs for up-to-date pricing and projections.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors in project estimates.
• Maintain and update historical cost data for future reference.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed.
