Upgrade Resources in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Electrical Estimator to develop time, cost, material, and labor estimates for commercial electrical projects up to $1 million. The role requires collaboration with clients, vendors, and field teams to produce accurate bids.

Recent graduates through about 3 years of estimating or construction experience are welcome; training on Accubid and Accubid Live Count is provided to grow into a full estimator. Base salary with bonus eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction science/management or related field.
• Recent graduates through ~3 years of estimating/construction experience.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with Accubid is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and specs to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Prepare estimates for commercial electrical projects up to $1 million.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and field supervision to formulate estimates.
• Prepare estimates used to select vendors and subcontractors.
• Discuss changes with engineers, designers, owners, and contractors.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide self-perform vs. subcontract.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements for project duration.
• Maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors.
