Join our local client's team in the automation space as an Electrical Estimator. This company has an established customer base and handles a variety of projects across the United States. In this role, you will contribute to these projects by providing electrical estimates, maintaining compliance with electrical and safety standards, and collaborating with project management teams. What you will do:

• Prepare detailed electrical installation estimates
• Develop cost breakdowns for materials and labor
• Maintain compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Solicit proposals from subcontractors and vendors
• Coordinate with leadership, project management, suppliers, operations, and field teams
• Perform peer reviews with project managers and lead electrical foremen
• Evaluate project plans to assess risks and present solutions
• Create project schedules and ensure timelines and budgets are met

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or construction management
• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction estimation
• Expertise in automation systems, automatic temperature controls, process controls, and building management systems
• Thorough knowledge of electrical power monitoring systems, power distribution control systems, integration, and networking
• Understanding of electrical systems, materials, and codes
• Prior experience with computer estimating systems
