Accentuate Staffing partners with an established electrical contractor delivering commercial and industrial projects across the Southeast. The Estimator shapes project strategy and profitability by converting plans, specifications, and field conditions into accurate, competitive electrical bids.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on construction knowledge with disciplined takeoffs, labor and material pricing, supplier coordination, and clear proposal writing.

Qualifications

• At least four years of electrical field experience and two years estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation methods, documents, estimating techniques, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to complete accurate takeoffs and complex labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor calculations.
• Experience with Accubid or a comparable electrical estimating platform; LiveCount and Bluebeam experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; electrical, construction-management, or related education is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Review plans, specifications, addenda, schedules, and bid requirements to define complete electrical scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and build labor, material, equipment, rental, and subcontractor costs in the estimating system.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness, compliance, and commercial risk.
• Develop bid packages, scope letters, inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, alternates, and required client documents.
• Present scope, technical requirements, pricing, assumptions, and risk considerations for internal estimate review.
• Lead a clear turnover of awarded work to project management, including scope, quotes, pricing strategy, and outstanding issues.

Experience with Accubid or a comparable platform, digital takeoff tools, and project turnover is strongly valued.
