Job Description

The ideal candidate should be a skilled, self-motivated professional with 5 years of electrical estimating experience within the commercial and industrial construction sectors. As an Electrical Estimator, you will provide detailed pricing and prepare electrical cost estimates for bid quotations. Proficiency in AccuBid or similar estimating software is required, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines is essential. Past field experience as an electrician is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review all contract documents to understand project requirements and apply them to pricing.
• Submit RFIs for estimating questions by the deadline.
• Perform accurate material take-offs.
• Review contracts and subcontracts for accuracy.
• Prepare electrical bids for new construction, alterations, and tenant improvements.
• Maintain RFI and Change Order Logs.
• Read, analyze, and interpret construction documents.
• Process submittals and RFIs.
• Organize and prepare scopes of work and price proposals.
• Be proficient with AccuBid or similar estimating software.
