Insight Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support diverse electrical construction projects including mission-critical data centers, healthcare facilities, commercial and industrial work. The role focuses on estimates from $5M to $25M+, with migration work from Accubid Classic to Accubid Anywhere.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and adept at handling multiple estimates with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates and budgets.
• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop labor, equipment, and cost projections.
• Coordinate with project management and operations teams.
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support conceptual budgeting, design-build proposals, and change orders.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Maintain estimating schedules and track bid opportunities.

This is a high-priority opening as the team prepares to transition from Accubid Classic to Accubid Anywhere and is looking to onboard someone before the migration begins. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a variety of electrical construction projects, including mission-critical data centers, healthcare facilities, commercial, industrial, and utility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple estimates ranging from $5M to $25M+. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates and budgets. Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents. Perform material and labor takeoffs. Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing. Develop labor, equipment, and cost projections. Coordinate with project management and operations teams. Nice to Have Skills & Experience

5-10 years of electrical estimating experience preferred.

Field experience as an electrician, foreman, superintendent, or project engineer is a plus.

Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Compensation: Ranges from $130,000 - $150,000 a year annual salary. Bonus opportunities are available. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
