Job summary

Fontanesi & Kann, a subsidiary of ICT, is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Ferndale, MI to price electrical scopes for HVAC projects and standalone jobs. You will coordinate with general contractors and owners to ensure accurate, timely bids and successful project execution.

Requirements include 2+ years of electrical estimating or field experience, NEC knowledge, strong Excel and estimating software skills, and journeyman experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial preferred) or hands-on field experience as an electrician.
• Understanding of NEC and commercial electrical installations.
• Strong Excel and/or estimating software skills or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Project manage electric and electrical controls projects.
• Maintain a relationship with the general contractor and owners.
• Procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors.
• Maintain office project management documentation.
• Monthly billings.
• Review electrical drawings/specs and develop the project.
• Solicit pricing from vendors/subcontractors.
• Maintain current knowledge of codes and labor pricing.
• Complete bid document and proposal letterheads.
