Job summary

Greenlight Resources in De Soto, KS is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support direct‑hire projects across power, heavy industrial, chemical, food & beverage sectors. The role focuses on accurate electrical cost estimating, project planning, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

We require 5+ years of electrical estimating experience, knowledge of NEC, and proficiency with Trimble Accubid; strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, NEC, and engineering design documents.
• Experience with conceptual, high-voltage, low-voltage, design-build, and unit-price estimating.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Trimble Accubid preferred).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical estimating efforts and coordinate all scopes when managing a full estimate.
• Prepare supplier and subcontractor RFQs.
• Develop construction execution plans, indirect cost models, and manpower loading charts.
• Participate in site visits, preconstruction meetings, and project turnover sessions.

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 + ~$125/day per diem (7 days/week)
