Job summary
Alberici in St. Louis, MO, seeks an Estimating Director (Electrical) to manage the electrical estimating process across market segments.
This role leads the estimating team, drives win strategies, and engages in JV preconstruction activities while developing staff and coordinating with clients and partners. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical construction background, deep knowledge of take-offs and pricing, and experience with joint ventures and labor agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of field experience is preferred.
- Ability to develop winning strategies and interpret complex engineering documents and deliver accurate estimates.
- Experience with Joint Ventures and labor agreements is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical estimating and manage department personnel for assigned pursuits.
- Routinely develop winner strategies for targeted pursuits.
- Provide leadership in Joint Venture pursuits and preconstruction activities.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
