Job summary

Stansell Electric Company, Inc. in Nashville, TN, is seeking an Operator I to assist in installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on various projects. You will work under supervision, operate backhoes and other machinery, and follow safety guidelines.

Apprentices enrolled in ABC or factory programs with up to 2,000 hours are encouraged to apply. We emphasize Injury-Free safety, quality workmanship, and a strong team culture in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in qualified (ABC or factory) classes with 0–2,000 hours of on-the-job experience.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and operate construction equipment safely.
• Possesses good hearing/vision and adheres to PPE and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing, relocating and organizing materials and equipment.
• Maintain clean work area; dispose of scrap and excess materials.
• Assist in pulling wire, lifting, shoveling, raking, hoisting and positioning materials.
• May operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Digs trenches and assists with electrical installations under supervision.
