Amteck in Lawrenceburg, KY is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join the team. You will operate and maintain electrical construction equipment at job sites in a full-time role with room for advancement.

A willingness to travel is desired but not mandatory, and prior electrical experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include operating excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and augers; following plans; collaborating with the crew; and conducting regular inspections

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, trenchers and augers.
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe operations on site.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safety culture on the team.
• Assist with general labor duties such as material handling and site cleanup.
• Communicate progress, issues, and concerns with supervisors and project managers.
