Job summary

Carnegie Robotics in Pittsburgh is seeking an Engineering Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical robotic systems. Responsibilities include working alongside engineers on prototype systems, performing soldering and electrical assembly, and providing feedback for design improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or equivalent experience with a strong ability to troubleshoot and excellent documentation skills. The role provides opportunities for hands-on experience in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB rework and cable assembly.
• Hands-on electromechanical build experience.
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical robotic systems.
• Perform electrical assembly work including soldering.
• Work alongside engineering teams to design and develop systems.
